Award-winning composer Michael Tremante draws upon his experience as a multi-instrumentalist, performer and music producer when creating music for film and television.

 

Tremante began his work in 2000 assisting veteran film composer Howard Shore, serving as Associate Music Producer for Mr. Shore’s Academy Award-winning and Grammy-winning score to Peter Jackson's “The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”. During his tenure with Mr. Shore, Tremante also co-produced several film scores, including features from David Fincher, Frank Oz and David Cronenberg.

 

Since 2006 Tremante’s original compositions have been featured in over twenty feature films and 500 television series. His music has been featured on ABC, A&E, Animal Planet, BET, BRAVO, CBS, The CW, Discovery, ESPN, E!, FOX, GSN, HBO, Logo, MTV, NBC, Oxygen, Style Network, TLC and VH1. 

 

Tremante’s film scores include Erica Dunton’s “to.get.her” which won Sundance Film Festival's NEXT award. Additional scoring credits include David Garrett’s “Ten Stories Tall”(Alley Sheedy, Jim Gaffigan), Carl T. Evans’ “Frame of Mind” (Chris Noth, Barbara Barrie), Chris Ford’s “The Village Barbershop” (John Ratzenberger, Shelly Cole), and Ben and Orson Cummings’ “If I Didn’t Care” (Roy Scheider, Bill Sage).
